Historic Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville Launches Capital Campaign for Expansion
Knoxville, Tenn. — The Tennessee Theatre, a cherished landmark in downtown Knoxville, is reaching out to the community for support in funding its exciting new project, the 612 Building expansion. This initiative, which has been in the works for some time, aims to enhance the theatre’s facilities by connecting the historic venue to the adjacent 612 Building. The 612 Building, which was formerly home to the Mechanics’ Bank and Trust, is being renovated to provide nearly 20,000 additional square feet of functional space.
