Skate Into the Holiday Spirit: Holidays on Ice Returns to Knoxville on November 29!

Skate Into the Holiday Spirit in Knoxville!

Hello, Knoxville! It’s that magical time of year again when we can lace up our skates and hit the ice in the heart of downtown. Holidays on Ice is back and kicking off the festivities on November 29! Get ready to twirl, glide, and maybe even take a little tumble as the ice skating rink transforms Market Square into a winter wonderland.

A Frosty Tradition Returns

Each year, local crews work their magic, setting up an enchanting ice skating rink right in the center of the square, and this year is no different. Just after Thanksgiving, the rink opens its frosty doors to eager skaters! Good news for everyone looking for a holiday outing — the rink will remain open until January 5, 2025. So, gather your friends and family, because there’s plenty of time to join in on the fun!

Weekly Themes to Keep You Grooving

To keep things exciting, the rink will have a weekly themed schedule. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Monday Madness: Bring your Ice Bears ticket stub and enjoy $2 off admission!
  • Tunes on Tuesday: Lace up for some skating to your favorite holiday music and classic hits from various decades.
  • Wednesday Spotlight: Dance on ice to a lineup of popular artists; check the schedule for who’s playing this week!
  • Thrilling Thursday: College students, shine your IDs! Get $2 off your ticket price.
  • Fabulous Friday and Saturday Skate Parties: Join the party vibes with disco lights and heart-pumping music!
  • Chill Sundays: Enjoy a relaxing brunch at nearby restaurants before hitting the rink.

With so much happening, every visit can feel like something brand new!

Visiting Hours and Admission Pricing

For those looking to glide and slide, the regular hours of operation run through December 22. After that, from December 23 to January 5, the rink opens at 1 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, with extended hours for Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Since we know you’re excited about skating, here’s what it will cost you: admission and skate rental will set you back $12, while children under 12 can get in for just $9. Got a crew? Consider a season pass for only $50 to make the most of this wintery adventure!

Plan Your Visit!

Knoxville, don’t let winter pass you by without making memories on the ice! Get your friends, family, or that special someone, and mix in a little fun at Holidays on Ice. With themed nights, discounts for students and Ice Bears fans, plus an overall stunning atmosphere, what better way to embrace the holiday spirit?

We can’t wait to see all of you out there on the rink — so grab your scarves, mittens, and a positive attitude, and let’s make this holiday season one to remember! Dust off those skating shoes and make your way down to Market Square. It’s time to skate into the season!
