Last Call for Salvation Army Angel Tree Adoptions in Knoxville!
Knoxville! It’s that time of year again when the spirit of giving is all around us, and the Salvation Army needs your help more than ever! With just two weeks left for the Angel Tree program, there are still about 80 angels and 130 silver bells (that’s our cherished senior citizens) eagerly waiting for someone to adopt them. These wonderful individuals are counting on our community’s love and generosity to make their Christmas dreams come true!
The Mission:
This year, the Salvation Army is on a mission to serve over 1,100 angels and silver bells as Christmas approaches. However, they are looking at a current total of about 200 children and seniors left without adopters. That’s where YOU come in! Major Paula Henderson, the Area Commander, encourages everyone to jump on board and lend a helping hand. “We know this community is a giving community that will make sure all angels are taken care of this Christmas!” she enthusiastically shared.

If adopting an angel isn’t feasible for you this year, that doesn’t mean you can’t contribute! There are plenty of ways to help out. Keep in mind that the deadline to adopt angels and return gifts to The Salvation Army is December 2nd, 2024. It’s crucial to finish the adoption process and ensure that all gifts are wrapped and ready to go by then.
