The University of Tennessee is rolling out the orange carpet for Wallen’s highly anticipated concerts, taking place on Friday, September 20 and Sunday, September 22 at Neyland Stadium. The energy is sure to be electric as the shows are expected to draw a whopping 80,000 people each night!
Both shows will kick off at 6:30 p.m., giving fans plenty of time to get into the spirit of the night. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. for those eager beavers looking to ensure the best experience possible. Now, for all of you who might be thinking of making it a “school day,” don’t worry! While classes will go on as normal that Friday, the university requests that concertgoers refrain from arriving on campus until 2 p.m. This way, everything can remain calm and orderly as everyone gears up for a fantastic evening.
For those planning to drive, parking lots will open at 2 p.m. for concert attendees with passes. And if you don’t want to deal with parking, the T buses will switch to a special event service at the same time! Be sure to check out the parking website for all those critical details.
Now, let’s talk tickets! If you scored a seat in the general bowl, make sure you access your tickets through the Ticketmaster app. Those with premium tickets can use the Tennessee Athletics app instead. A little tip? Download those tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay to skip any potential hassles when you arrive. But if you run into any trouble, don’t panic! There will be a ticket booth set up at Gate 21 that day to help you out.
For entry, fans with field-level tickets should head to Gate 7, those with pit tickets can go to Gate 25, and general bowl ticket holders can enter through any nonpremium gate. If you’re waving a premium ticket, remember to enter at the specified gate for a smooth entry.
Worried about staying connected during the event? No problem! RockyTopWiFi will be available throughout Neyland Stadium. So, feel free to snap and share those unforgettable moments with friends and family!
Make sure to arrive early because the university has planned a special Volunteer Club tailgate at 3 p.m. on Humanities Plaza. It’s a great spot to soak in the atmosphere with fellow fans before the big show! And for those who have concert tickets for Friday, you’ll even get complimentary access to the Tennessee volleyball game against Western Michigan at Food City Center at 2 p.m. What a way to pump up your day!
Your safety matters! Throughout Neyland Stadium, there will be first-aid stations managed by UT Medical Center. Also, if you’re hoping to snag some cool Morgan Wallen merchandise, there will be several locations outside Neyland Stadium at various gates, all opening at 2 p.m. You can also grab some gear inside the stadium during both shows!
With so much going on, it’s clear Knoxville is poised to be the place to be during Morgan Wallen’s concerts! Mark your calendars and gear up for an unforgettable experience at Neyland Stadium. Don’t miss out on the fun and let the good times roll!
