Clinton resident Mark Yarber, aged 61, left this world with his loving family by his side at the Methodist Medical Centre on Monday. Born, Mark was an alumnus of Clinton High School. He was known for his devoted love towards his family, his unwavering patriotism, and his love for the University of Tennessee Vols.
Years of Service to the Country
An inspiring model of integrity, bravery, and commitment, Mark served the United States Navy proudly aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier. His tenure with the Navy was marked with honor and multiple commendations, a testament to his dedication and perseverance.
A Man of Diverse Interests
Apart from his love for his family and his country, Mark’s life was punctuated with a deep devotion to the University of Tennessee Vols; he was an ardent fan of the team. His off-duty hours were often spent hitting the green, as golf was one of his favorite ways to unwind. Keeping his entrepreneurial spirit alive, Mark owned a cleaning service that he operated for several years. His enterprise served both the Texas, and Anderson County areas.
Leaving Behind a Void
Mark was the beloved son of Judy Yarber of Clinton, and predeceased by his father, Watson H. Yarber. He leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories to be cherished by his siblings Kat Yarber of Houston, Texas, Jody Yarber and his wife Karen of Clinton; his uncle Marvin Yarber, and his close friend from Irving, Texas. A myriad of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends were also touched by Mark’s life and will remember him fondly.
Mourning a Loss, Celebrating a Life
The family will accept condolences at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home. A service notice from the family indicates that the funeral service will be officiated by none other than Tim Melton, following which Mark Yarber’s body will be laid to rest at the Anderson Memorial Garden. All funeral arrangements are being managed by the dedicated team at Holley Gamble Funeral Home located in Clinton.
Mark Yarber’s life may have ended but his legacy will continue, for he was undeniably a man who lived his life with honor, bravery, and a commitment to those he loved. His life serves as a beacon of inspiration, teaching us the importance of love, duty, and devotion – to the country, to the family and to one’s passions.
