Kodak, Tennessee: Exciting Events at Smokies Stadium This Weekend

This weekend promises to be a thrilling time for baseball fans and community members in Kodak, Tennessee. The Smokies Baseball team is set to host a series of unique events that are sure to entertain families and individual guests alike. The activities scheduled for this weekend include a murder mystery, a celebration of the University of Tennessee, and a special giveaway event to commemorate 25 years of Smokies Stadium.

Murder Mystery Night on Friday

Friday, August 23, kicks off the weekend with a Murder Mystery Night, organized in collaboration with Regal Cinemas. A fictional crime has supposedly taken place right at Smokies Stadium, and the organizers invite fans to solve the case. Participants will have the chance to meet the suspects and gather clues to determine “who did it.” This fun and interactive event aims to engage the audience while enjoying the excitement of baseball. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to get in the mood for mystery and drama.

University of Tennessee Night on Saturday

On Saturday, August 24, the Smokies will host their University of Tennessee themed night, thanks to Phoenix Conversions. The first 1,000 fans to arrive will receive a special Dalton Knecht Bobblehead. Fans can also look forward to watching Smokies players wear specialty jerseys for this event. The jerseys will later be auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting The Pat Summitt Foundation, a notable organization dedicated to Alzheimer’s research and awareness.

To top off the festivities, there will be a fireworks show themed around the Vols, providing an exciting end to the evening’s game. All UT fans and community members are encouraged to come dressed in their orange and white to show support for their team and contribute to the celebratory atmosphere.

25th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday

The weekend wraps up on Sunday, August 25, with a grand celebration marking 25 years of Smokies Stadium. To honor this significant milestone, the team has planned an exciting day filled with 25 giveaways. Prizes include exciting items such as a PS5, an iPad, AirPods, a Roomba, and more. Attendees should be among the first 500 fans through the gates to receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of the generous prizes, including tickets for the opening game in 2025.

Community Engagement and Fun for All

These events not only provide entertainment but also serve as a way to engage the local community. Families are encouraged to attend, as the atmosphere at Smokies Stadium is designed to be family-friendly and inclusive. Whether attendees are avid baseball fans, mystery enthusiasts, or supporters of local initiatives, there is something for everyone at this weekend’s happenings.

With the dynamic combination of live baseball, interactive entertainment, and opportunities to win fantastic prizes, Kodak will be the place to be this weekend. It’s a perfect chance for families and friends to come together, enjoy the games, and create lasting memories.
