Knoxville Mourns the Loss of Beloved Trooper Grant Gouldie
In a heart-wrenching turn of events, the community of Knoxville is coming together to honor the life and legacy of Trooper Grant Gouldie, who recently passed away following a courageous battle with colon cancer. Diagnosed earlier this year, Gouldie’s fight was one marked by strength, determination, and unrelenting spirit. His legacy lives on not only in the hearts of his loved ones but also through the tremendous support shown by the Knoxville community.
Back in July, friends and family rallied around Trooper Gouldie, launching a fundraising initiative to assist him during his fight against cancer. They crafted and sold hand-painted wooden crosses, raising thousands of dollars to support him and his family during a challenging time. This heartfelt effort is a true testament to the love and support that surrounds those in the service of our community.
Trooper Gouldie was not only a dedicated officer; he was a devoted husband and a proud father to three beautiful children. His commitment to his family and community was evident in everything he did, and he will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
A Heartfelt Tribute for First Responders
In honor of Trooper Gouldie and all of our brave first responders, a special event is taking place this Wednesday, November 20th. From 11 AM to 2 PM, the Jackson Terminal at 213 Jackson Ave will be offering FREE lunch for all men and women in law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders. It’s a small gesture to show appreciation for those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving the community.
