Recently, they gathered at the Bishops’ Storehouse, a facility run by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which has been serving the community since 1984. The purpose of this gathering? To learn how to better respond to crises like the devastating floods caused by Hurricane Helene.

As Riggins pointed out, “You stage this stuff in areas that won’t be impacted, but it’s close enough so you can get it there.”
