The City of Knoxville is throwing a Job Fair and Career Expo on Wednesday, March 26, and it’s a chance you won’t want to miss. If you’ve been searching for your next career move, mark your calendars for this upcoming event, which will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Public Works Service Center, located at 3131 Morris Ave.

Unlock a World of Employment

Whether you’re looking for something part-time to fit around your schedule, a full-time role, or even a Summer 2025 internship, this job fair has you covered! It’s a great chance to fill out applications on the spot for various open positions, all while getting answers to your burning questions. You can find out about the application process, qualifications, pay, pensions, work schedules, and even benefits offered by the City.

Want to see what you might be working with? There will be department vehicles and equipment on display outside the Public Works Building for you to check out. It’s a practical way to get a feel for what the role could involve!

Each of these job fairs will be at Covenant Health Park, the brand-new multi-use stadium located in Knoxville’s Old City. You’ll have the chance to explore a variety of part-time and seasonal positions perfect for working during home games and various other events.

The first fair kicks off on March 1 at Jackson Terminal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a fair at The Change Center on March 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and wrapping up with the final event at the Knoxville Area Urban League on March 15, also from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m..

Available Positions Galore!

The Knoxville Smokies are on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to fill roles such as ticket takers, ticket sellers, rally crew members, camera operators, merchandise representatives, parking attendants, ushers, and a variety of food and beverage roles. It promises to be a fun working environment, especially if you have a passion for baseball or events!

Keep in mind, if you’re thinking about applying, you might need to be prepared to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. It’s all part of the fun of working at a lively stadium setting!
