This year, The Salvation Army has set an ambitious goal of raising $225,000. Why the big goal? Well, the demand for essential services in our community has never been greater. From providing three square meals a day to offering shelter and clothing, The Salvation Army is devoted to ensuring that those hit hardest by the challenges of everyday life can find the support they need.

To put things into perspective, last year alone, The Salvation Army Knoxville served over 35,000 meals and provided 34,000 nights of shelter along with 2,000 boxes of food to families in need. Major Cameron Henderson, the Area Commander, emphasizes the importance of donations, saying, “Every gift, no matter the size, takes us one step closer to lifting someone out of hardship.”
