Hope Shines Bright in Knoxville: Helping Neighbors Affected by Flooding
Knoxville is rallying together in an incredible show of community spirit as we prepare to support our neighbors affected by the devastating flooding caused by Tropical Storm Helene. It’s always inspiring to see how a community pulls together during tough times, and right now, we have a wonderful opportunity to lend a hand to those in need.
Donation Drive Kicking Off Tomorrow
Tomorrow, Monday, from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m., a tractor trailer will be stationed at Cumulus Media Knoxville, located at 4711 Old Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919. This is your chance to make a difference! We are collecting essential items such as toiletries, bottled water, and dry goods. Every little bit helps, and these supplies are going to be distributed directly to those affected by the flooding.
Location for Donations Near White Pine
For those of you living closer to White Pine, there’s good news! A semi-trailer for donations will also be set up at ProTeam Auctions. It’s important not to overlook those living in neighboring communities who are also in distress due to this natural disaster. So, no matter where you are, you have a chance to help!
Join Us for Live Broadcasts
To spread awareness and keep the momentum going, some of our stations will be live broadcasting throughout the day. WOKI, Newstalk987, will be live from 6 a.m. to noon. We encourage you to tune in and listen, as we share stories, thank our donors, and continue to rally support for our friends and families affected by this disaster.
What’s Needed?

- Bottled Water: Clean drinking water is vital, especially for those who have lost access due to the flooding.
