Exciting Events Coming to Knoxville From August 11 to August 20, 2024

Knoxville is buzzing with activities as the city gears up for a ten-day stretch filled with a variety of events that cater to everyone’s interests. From food festivals to art shows, there’s something exciting happening every day.

Sunday, August 11

Start your Sunday with the final day of Nourish Knoxville’s Restaurant Week 2024. Various local restaurants will be featured for diners to enjoy a special menu from 12:01 am to 11:45 pm.

For those looking for a more laid-back outing, the Sunday Jazz Brunch at Stir runs from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and offers a delightful atmosphere to enjoy live jazz music along with a delicious brunch.

Other highlights include the Knoxville Home Expo at the Knoxville Convention Center, which is free to attend from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the Eastside Sunday Market at Dr. Walter Hardy Park from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Monday, August 12

While the weekend winds down, Monday brings the start of Spirit Week at The Bark from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. For art lovers, there’s a chance to explore exhibitions at various locations, including the Emporium Center and Dogwood Regional Exhibition, both open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Highlighting the evening on Monday will be auditions for Knoxville Children’s Theatre’s Beowulf: The First Avenger from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Tuesday, August 13

In the evening, the The Adventures of Tom Sawyer returns to the Knoxville Children’s Theatre at 1:00 pm and again at 5:00 pm.
