Exciting Theater Productions Taking Over Knoxville This September

Knoxville is gearing up for an exciting month in the theater scene this September, with a variety of productions set to light up the stage. From new musicals to classic plays, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Clarence Brown Theatre: A New Musical, Knoxville

One of the highlights of the month is the opening of the new musical Knoxville at the Clarence Brown Theatre. This production features music by composer Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens. The book was written by the late Frank Galati and adapted from James Agee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel A Death in the Family.

The show will kick off with previews on September 4 and 5, before its official opening on September 6. Theatergoers can enjoy the musical performances all the way through September 22.

Theatre Knoxville Downtown: The Power of Women in The Revolutionists
