In addition to the new locations, early voting will also continue at the following locations: Downtown West (1645 Downtown West Blvd., Unit 40), Eternal Life Harvest Center at Five Points (2410 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.), Knoxville Expo Center (5441 Clinton Highway), Meridian Baptist Church (6513 Chapman Highway), New Harvest Park (4775 New Harvest Lane), Karns Senior Center (8042 Oak Ridge Highway), Halls Recreation Center (6933 Recreation Lane), and City County Building, Small Assembly Room (400 Main Street).
The voting booths will be generally open from 10 am to 6 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 3 pm on Saturdays. There exist a few exceptions to the standard hours which can be viewed at: Schedule.
The first day – Friday, July 12 – all locations, except the Karns Senior Center, will operate until 7 pm, enabling more voters to participate in the early voting process.
Early voting offers convenience and the assurance that unexpected situations on Election Day won’t prevent voters from exercising their hard-won right. It is a safer and more flexible option for many.
As the countdown to Friday, July 12 begins, the county’s election commission notably encourages residents to take advantage of early voting at the locations provided.
It is upon each eligible voter to make their voice heard and contribute towards the shaping of their county’s and country’s future.
