Sunday, August 25: A Day for Yoga and Markets

Start your Sunday right with yoga at the Greening Your Home – Homemade Cleaning Products Workshop at Ijams Nature Center from 10:00 am to noon, priced at $60. For those who prefer a more relaxed vibe, head to the Gospel Jazz Brunch at SanSational Creations at 1:00 pm with tickets priced at $45.

Head to the Eastside Sunday Market for some local flavors, happening from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Dr. Walter Hardy Park.

Throughout the week, many local venues will be hosting open mics and live performances. A Stand-Up Comedy Open Mic will take place at The Pirate Tavern every Sunday starting at 5:30 pm, giving comedians a chance to test their material.

Saturday, August 31: Tailgate and Tailgating Games

Come to the Tailgate with WS event at Circle Park and enjoy the atmosphere as UT Vols take on UTC Mocs for their first home game at noon. And don’t miss the Evening Paddle event at the Ijams Nature Center later that night.

Sunday, September 1: Celebrations Continue

Wind down the weekend with the 11th Annual Big Kahuna Wing Festival at World’s Fair Park starting at 2:00 pm. Enjoy delicious wings, live music, and cheerful gatherings in this fun community event.
