The **17th Annual Dogwood Arts Chalk Walk** is almost here, transforming **Downtown Knoxville** into a vibrant outdoor gallery on April 5. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the streets will come alive with incredible chalk art, live music, and loads of fun for the whole family.

An Amazing Day of Art and Fun

This exciting event will feature over 300 artists and teams working their magic right on-site, turning our sidewalks into spectacular masterpieces. Last year, more than **30,000 people** joined in on the fun, and this year is poised to be even bigger. With that many art lovers expected, it’s a community gathering you won’t want to miss!

If you’re wondering about how to get involved, keep in mind that spots for artists fill up quickly. There are around 150 spots available, but with about 200 artists waiting for a chance to showcase their talent, you can see why it’s a hot ticket! Each artist will compete in **12 categories** including Elementary, Middle School, High School, College, and Adult, plus Family and the ever-glamorous Sidewalk of Fame.

For all you art enthusiasts out there, there will be a panel of judges awarding cash prizes and ribbons for outstanding pieces. But that’s not all – you can also be part of the excitement by voting for your favorites in the **People’s Choice Award**, presented by WIVK FM-107.7. It’s your chance to support the artists and make sure your favorites get the recognition they deserve!

Fun for Everyone

What’s a festival without delicious food? The Chalk Walk will feature a variety of **food trucks** and a **beer garden** to keep your energy up while you wander through a world of creativity.
