ReVIDA Recovery Centers Launches Comprehensive Treatment Initiative to Address Opioid Crisis in Tennessee

ReVIDA Recovery Centers Expands Services to Help All Tennesseans Access Treatment

Knoxville, Tenn. – In a significant move aimed at battling the ongoing opioid crisis in the state, ReVIDA Recovery Centers is stepping up its game by offering life-saving treatment services to all residents of Tennessee, irrespective of their financial situation or insurance status. This fresh initiative has been made possible thanks to a generous grant from the Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council, marking a transformative change in how care can be accessed by those in need.

A Barrier-Free Path to Recovery

The new program, named “Treatment for All,” is a beacon of hope for individuals who have faced obstacles in accessing treatment for opioid use disorder. This is not just a minor tweak in services; it’s a comprehensive overhaul that ensures eligible Tennesseans can receive the care that may have been out of reach due to financial barriers.
According to ReVIDA’s CEO, Lee Dilworth, “For too many uninsured and lower-income Tennesseans, the cost of treatment puts treatment out of reach. We are changing that.” With this supportive funding, ReVIDA centers can now reach an even wider audience, especially those without insurance or who are under-insured.

Who is Eligible?

If you’re a Tennessean and find yourself wondering if you could benefit from this amazing program, here’s what you need to know. To qualify for the “Treatment for All” program, you must:

  • Be a resident of Tennessee.
  • Have a household income below 300% of the federal poverty guidelines or demonstrate some form of financial hardship.

Even if you have insurance, you might still qualify! The program covers copays and deductibles that you may struggle to afford. This opens the doors for many who already have some form of coverage but face financial hurdles when it comes to out-of-pocket expenses.

Comprehensive Treatment Services

ReVIDA Recovery Centers are committed to providing a wide array of treatment options under this new initiative. The services range from medically-assisted treatment to counseling and support programs – all designed with one mission in mind: to provide compassionate care to those in need.
Indeed, Dilworth emphasized that “Compassionate care is at the heart of ReVIDA’s mission, and these funds allow us to fulfill that mission by ensuring all Tennesseans, regardless of their financial situation, get the help they need.”

How to Access Treatment

Getting started with treatment has never been easier. Interested individuals can simply walk into any ReVIDA Recovery Center clinic across Tennessee or call them directly at (865) 412-8090 to chat with an admissions specialist. If you decide to visit, it’s helpful to bring along your identification, a list of any prescribed medications, and your insurance card—if you have one.

Looking Ahead

The support and commitment shown by the Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council is inspiring, demonstrating a vision for prioritizing access to care for all Tennesseans. This collaborative effort aims to create real change and move the needle for countless individuals and families facing the challenges of opioid addiction.

In these times when community compassion is desperately needed, ReVIDA Recovery Centers are doing their part by lifting barriers to treatment. For so many, this initiative provides not just a chance for recovery, but also hope for a healthier future.
