Grant Gouldie Benefit Car Show Scheduled for Saturday

The parking lot at Halls High School will transform into an exciting benefit car show to support the family of Grant Gouldie. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
About Grant Gouldie
A devoted family man, Grant Gouldie serves as a trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Grant and his wife Amanda are parents to three kids who are currently in middle and elementary school. Regrettably, Gouldie has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. Friends and community members have gathered to support Gouldie during this challenging time, organizing a massive fundraiser to assist the family.

The major part of Saturday’s fundraising plan is expected to captivate vehicle enthusiasts of all ages. For a fee, participants can enter their cars, motorcycles, and jeeps into the show. Amongst the shiny display of automobiles, the event will also feature a ‘touch a truck’ area. Vehicles from the police bomb squad, K-9, SWAT, helicopter, cruiser, THP motor unit, critical incident response unit, and roll-over demonstration will be available to explore. A small contribution will allow visitors to interact with these fascinating vehicles.
Food Trucks and More
Visitors can energize themselves for the day with the on-site food trucks, expected to cater to a wide variety of culinary tastes. After building their appetites at the car show, attendees can continue their adventurous day with a THP-escorted ride to Norris Dam. The convoy is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
