Knoxville mourns the loss of a beloved resident
Knoxville resident Anne Cooper Lovain, 64, passed away in her home. Born in Warrensburg, Missouri, to William Luther Cooper Jr. and Rachel Anne Cooper, Anne’s love for life spilled over into many areas, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
Lover of Baseball and Rock and Roll
Known for her love for baseball, Anne was an avid supporter of the Cubs. Her passion for the sport was infectious, bringing joy and excitement to those around her. She also held a keen interest in rock and roll music and had attended numerous concerts. Such was her zest for life.
Apart from this, she also cherished vacationing at the beach and dancing – her favourite stage being her kitchen. The rhythm of life that lived in her was palpable in all aspects of her life.
A Family-Centric Woman
However, the greatest pride in her life was her family. Especially her grandchildren, Cooper and Lily Lawson. She loved to share pictures and stories of them with her friends. This grandmother’s love was a testament to her family-centred character.
At the time of her passing, Anne was serving as the assistant credit manager at Stowers Machinery Corporation in Knoxville. Her contribution to the organisation is deeply appreciated.
Anne Cooper Lovain’s Survivors
Lovain leaves behind daughters Rachel Lawson & her spouse Tyler and Caroline Lovain, both residents of Knoxville, as well as her life partner, Bruce Chenell. Her grandchildren, Cooper and Lily Lawson, siblings William “Luke” Cooper & spouse Nancy Tabor, Tim Cooper & wife Denise, and Amy Cooper, niece Abby Cooper, nephew Kris Cooper and nieces Kathryn and Sarah Cooper also survive her. Lastly, her beloved dog, Allie, too bids her goodbye.
A Celebration of Life
A Celebration of Life service for Anne is scheduled, at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home. The family has entrusted the funeral home with all arrangements. All are invited to remember and celebrate the life lived with open arms.
Though Knoxville mourns the loss of one of its dear residents, there is consolation in the fact that she lived a life filled with love and joy, embodying the spirit of the city. Her life lives on in our stories, our hearts, and our memories.
